David has or moderated at nearly 50 events in his time trading as Travelyields Ltd. Since 2012. Every one of them is listed at the bottom of the “clients” tab of this website.

As well as acting as conference director and compere of the International Cruise Summit for 5 years (www.internationalcruisesummit.com) relinquishing the role in 2023, he has performed at industry events as far afield as Miami, Shanghai, Moscow and Montreal, as well as closer to home in places such as Athens, Hamburg, Stockholm.

However, as well as speaking, David can also put on events for others.

“Meet the Planners” Event, Fort Lauderdale 2023 and Miami 2024 & 2025

Together with his colleagues from the CPAA, the “Cruise Professional Advisors Alliance” exclusives access for Travelyields port and destination clients to have one to one meetings with itinerary planners from a choice of up to 25 cruise lines, during the days of Seatrade Global.

Each client enjoyed between 7-8 meetings with cruise line planners of their choice, and the event was concluded with lunch, to give those a chance to network with lines with whom they weren’t able to meet.

David’s main preparation beforehand was to plan and schedule every meeting that took place during the event, taking in cruise line preferences of destinations with whom to meet, and destination preferences of cruise lines with whom to meet. Ovcer 300 meetings were arranged.

Held informally on a Sunday, David was described by one US itinerary planner as “The Summer Camp Counsellor” as he explained the meetings procedures to the cruise line and port/destination delegates.

“Networking Party” – Miami 2024

Along with his Miami based industry colleague, Shannon McKee of Access Cruise Inc, David held a networking “Brunch on the Beach” around 100 client partners and cruise line executives, to say “thank you” for business.

Such events come as value added when working alongside Travelyields.Ltd and It goes without saying that I value client/partner business greatly.
